About
My name is Ashley Abduok, I am a Journalism and Public Relations student at Oakland University. Throughout my time as a student I've been working at Orchard Lake Animal hospital. My photo story below showcases veterinary life during a pandemic. Because dogs and cats cannot speak for themselves, A veterinarian's job was already challenging - adding a pandemic into the mix has been a challenge all in it's own.Â
The following photos show exams where pet parents are not allowed into the building with their pets, an empty hospital lobby that was once full of life, COVID-19 door signs and day to day surgical procedures.
